If you’re ready to innovate and lead in the Solution Architecture space, join Nike’s Enterprise Architecture organization! You will be part of an organization that is revolutionizing Nike technology platforms and architecting a technology landscape that is simplified, modern, flexible and will ultimately enable Nike on its journey to 2020 and beyond.
The Enterprise Architecture team will partner and engage with business and technology leaders across all the business functions within the enterprise in planning, creating, maintaining and executing a capability roadmap aligned to the overall company and functional strategies to ensure that the people, process, data insights/information, and technology needs are accurately collected and planned for short, medium and long-term execution.
As the Principal Solution Architect for Source-to-Pay and Plan-to-Produce, you will be part of a highly visible team focused on enabling Nike’s end-to-end Digital Transformation. The Technical strategy and architecture you help define will have a direct impact on Nike’s Supply Chain Capabilities.
You will engage, collaborate and partner with Nike’s Strategic Enterprise Capabilities program leaders and stakeholders across Business and Technology to understand long and short-term business strategies, provide thought leadership, and engage in proactive planning of an executable Design. Essential job functions:Drive the overall Procurement and Planning architectural strategy for the Program with hands-on leadership in ideation and implementation
Effectively handle priorities and timelines with little need for escalation
Understand Customer Need - maintain close relationships with customers and stakeholders to understand and communicate their needs and participate in validation of the solutions
Develop, maintain and communicate the vision to the Program Leaders and collaborate to define feature delivery schedule milestones via product roadmap and backlog refinement
Alignment of solutions with corporate strategies through strong business and technical thought leadership
Works closely with Reference Architecture and Enterprise Platform teams to drive prioritization of needed capabilities and ensure solution alignment with business priorities & strategies
Establish and advocate "best practices" and standardized frameworks, tools and operational processes related to technology delivery, collaboration, knowledge management, resource planning, vendor management, and dashboards
Responsible for data and analytics scope, change, issue and risk management; Identify and handle risks, changes, issues and scope. Facilitate mitigation through relevant stakeholders and governance processes.
Provide oversight of strategy, technical aspects and has final say on data and analytics functionality for all products in his/her portfolio
Be responsible for the procurement and planning architecture backlog through prioritization: gather requirements from existing and potential customers, write product Epic and Feature requirements with success criteria

Presenting recommendations and solutions clearly and concisely and able to focus on key points to portray the intended message or purpose
Skills:Must have in-depth expertise with a globally integrated and well-controlled operations for Purchasing of finished goods, Indirect procurement of goods and services, and Accounts Payable to enable the commercial and operational strategies.
Must have in-depth expertise with Demand, Supply and Inventory Planning.
Must have experience Merchandising, Direct Allocation and Inventory Management to enable process design and technology enablement.
Familiarity with API and data deployment mechanisms
Familiarity with identity reconciliation processes for both internally and vendor developed
Demonstrated experience with running complex projects across a matrixed organization
Excellent oral, verbal and written communication skills
Superior analytical skills, including self-serving data from a data warehouse and manipulating it towards insights
Must excel working in team-oriented roles that rely on ability to collaborate with others.
High self-motivation, self-starting attitude and drive, and comfortable working in ambiguous environments a must
The ability to work cooperatively with, and gain the respect of the engineering team
Strong leadership skills as-well-as experience with technology to understand what is possible given current technology and how trends will affect the product in the future


Qualifications
A Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline such as computer science, computer systems, math, information technology, or similar
10+ years of technology engineering and architecture roles demonstrating experience with go-to-market strategy development and execution
Minimum 5 years previous experience in data analytics, business reporting, business intelligence, data technology and/or consulting in a related field.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience working on technology products or projects
Minimum of 5 years’ in leading teams
Minimum 5+ years’ providing technical leadership to business & cross-functional teams
