As a Global Running Associate Merchant, you will support the Global Merchandising team to deliver well informed seasonal line plans, growth strategies, and product journeys. You provide a pivotal connection point between driving the vision of the Global Running Category and the needs of the Geographies. Key Accountabilities & Deliverables include:
Partner with Geo Category teams to determine consumer-led capacity and insights by preparing and analyzing Category-level information for Global harmonization
Contributing data and insights that will be used as an input to harmonize the Global Category Line Plan in partnership with the end-to-end Design, Product, and Merchandising teams.
Work with Design and Product partners to build consumer-right product lines
Handles ongoing edits and maintains alignment with Geo and cross-functional partners
Prepare for and engage in key seasonal meetings, such as E2E Line Planning, Final Design Intent, Product Review, Brand Alignment, Product Read Out and Integrated Seasonal Readiness.
Assist with tools to collect and analyze Consumer-Led Capacity data rollup by Category & Close the Loop post-line lock
Assist with tools to collect and analyze Marketplace Insights for the Category
Handle sample intake and ordering process
Requires a Bachelor’s degree or additional 2 years of experience in lieu of degree
At least 2 years’ experience in merchandising, product creation, and/or retail, in a vertical or wholesale environment
Footwear and/or Apparel merchandising experience
Proficiency in retail and profit-based metrics
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and seasons
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
