As an essential member of Nike’s Quality Engineering team, you’ll find yourself interacting with teams involved in a wide range of technologies and experiences. You’ll work with Program, Product and Engineering to ensure our Quality standards are never compromised.
Using your shown capabilities, you’ll split your time between tactical hands on testing where you’ll focus on functional, integration, performance, security and user acceptance testing as well as working across teams and companies to help bring to life Consumer journeys in our Mobile and Retail space. Your knowledge of retail systems such as Point of Sale and Inventory along with your ability to navigate through the mobile application stack dealing with experiences such as Reserve and Triggered Unlocks will help you define solutions that cross ecosystems.
You’ll focus on leveraging cross team dependencies and interactions in order to enable groups to develop automated and manual testing solutions in a rapidly evolving ecosystem, helping define test strategies and solutions in both pre and postproduction environments. You’re just as comfortable rolling up your sleeves and executing tests as you are working with Product and Engineering to help define their test strategy. You can track down the information you need, whether through diving into Confluence, researching through the web or searching out the right individuals to talk to.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related field
5-10 years working in QA or within Development squads with a weekly or bi-weekly release cadence
3-5 years working in an Agile team/squad
Experience leading cross functional programs preferred
Ability to effectively negotiate working agreements & timelines across multiple stakeholders i.e. Program, Product, Engineering, Quality & Operations
Strong problem-solving skills and a demonstrated competency with mobile/web technologies like Java, data structures, shell scripting, object-oriented development, and test tools/framework you must be a practitioner with hands-on experience
Additional experience in Retail Brick and Mortar stores with experience using, developing or supporting applications such as POS, Inventory or WFM a plus
Impeccable written and verbal communication skills
