Responsibilities
* Policy Governance and Process Development
- Partner with GEO Ops team to ensure related Inventory Control policies (Inventory Validation, Inventory Adjustment, etc.) have been fully adopted and executed in all Nike GC facilities (3PL + Owned)
- Ensure Nike’s Inventory Control requirements are in place with 3PL contract and create / update related inventory control manual for GC
- Liaison with DC Ops to develop Nike’s Independent PoV of 3PL Inventory Control Process and related performance results
* ICFR Control Performance
- Perform annual DC Risk Assessment and SOX scoping to proactively identify risks and establish action plans
- Coordination and liaison between Operations, PwC, FG&C, and Corporate Audit for Business Process Controls and ITGCs
- Call out for potential control deficiency and establish action plan to remediate together with operation
- Execute / Drive to completion action plans to remediate ICFR deficiencies and Corporate Audit findings
- Key member of Global Inventory Control Organization for practice sharing and drive continuous improvements
* Inventory Control Execution
- Develop monthly cycle count reporting process for all DCs
- Create a standard review process for inventory accuracy performance and provide leadership visibility and insights
- Monthly scorecard reporting
- Participant in shadow count process and review shadow count results
- Oversees 3rd party counting company annual counting performance
- Review significant inventory adjustment impacting financial statement
* Project Support and Continuous Improvement
- Support the ongoing GC Supply Chain Network development strategy from Inventory Control point of view
- Provide constructive advice to improve DC inventory control process under new facility or operation model (ASRS, automation equipment)
- Actively looking for better inventory control tools under new technology development (e.g., statistical sampling, RFID)
