About the Operations team

The Operations team is responsible for managing the design, deployment and daily execution of Nike Japans supply chain capabilities. Our focus is on providing reliable, efficient, fast and flexible services to our Digital, B&M and Wholesale consumers by relentlessly executing our strategic priorities in collaboration with x-functional, APLA and Global partners. The team consists of 3 primary functions: Supply Chain Innovation (SCI), Marketplace Operations (MPO), and Logistics.

About the role

At Nike we see the Operations function as a source of competitive advantage. As a key leader in the MPO function you'll play a significant role in maintaining that vision. As the Account Marketplace Operations Manager, you will be responsible to drive our marketplace operation management involving in Integrated Marketplace, leveraging not only the Global/Geo framework and standards but also territory marketplace relevancies. You will provide leadership and subject matter expertise within Nike Japan’s Integrated Account Teams on all areas related to marketplace operations to ensure we are deploying and executing sustainable and profitable solutions both for Nike and our account partners.

You will also collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure all key initiatives are incorporated into Operations/Sales portfolio and strategic plans, aligned with the seasonal order book execution and delivery management at account level. With strong partnership and collaboration with Sales, Account Operations and Logistics you will use your influencing skills to provide marketplace insights and deploy stable and sustainable way of supply chain capabilities, service managements & logistics network of our account partners. Finally, you will be the operational lead of Account Marketplace management for all communication with account partners. This will require you to build win-win collaborative relationships with internal partners as well as with the account partners to drive effective marketplace operation management.

Responsibilities

* Drive and execute marketplace operation management (product and service deliveries)
* Partner with Sales, Account Operations and Logistics to deploy and execute the most profitable and effective operation management for both Nike and account partners.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with account partners to provide marketplace relevant deliveries and services.
* Be the subject matter expert in Nike and accounts partners’ supply chain to ensure efficient product flow throughout the end to end process.
* Be the primary point of contact for APLA MPO Account Marketplace Management within Nike Japan
