As Marker Specialist for our Apparel/Equipment division in GSM, you will be reporting to the Material Utilization Manager and support in the evaluation of Apparel/Equipment material utilization, efficiency and cost accuracy.
Key Job Accountabilities:
* Optimize marking productivity through knowledge of system nuances, and software capabilities.
* Interpret and evaluate factories’ costing marker to provide accurate justification of usage and percent
efficiency standard for each fabric by preparing and marking styles.
* Collaborate with development team and provide cost effective lay-up recommendations including
pattern and/or fabric width change.
* Works with factory, developers and costing team to review factories’ cost accuracy performance
through marker validation.
* Coordinate within marker team and communicate with development team throughout the product
creation process to ensure key timelines and deliverables are met.
* Analyze technical matters callout by factory partners by troubleshooting and provide possible solution.
* Provide training or guidance for internal and external parties whenever required.
* Manage and maintain internal tracking tools and online portal.
