Job purpose
Responsible for the development and review of long-term & short-term Nike GC strategies and business initiatives.
Key job accountabilities
GC Overall Strategy Development & Performance Review:
* Lead the process of developing strategic vision & initiatives for 1 year and 3 years ahead at the geography level, co-work with business units/functions to ensure objectives are aligned and integrated.
* Identify relevant measures and drive accountability for on-going business performance against strategic objectives, coordinate the process of quarterly business review.
Communication of GC Strategy:
* Support critical geography-level submission and discussion with global leadership team and global strategy team to align on GC business performance and strategic priorities.
* Support important CEO/CFO presentations to both employees and external business partners to communicate Nike GC vision and strategic initiatives.
Management of Project with Strategic Importance:
* Support projects of strategic importance to Nike’s growth and profitability, by working with cross-functional teams and sometimes external vendors.
* Lead projects with specific topics at the geography level to drive the future of Nike, e.g., market research, consumer insights and competitive intelligence, new business opportunities, etc.
