Nike products enable and inspire human potential, and it’s up to the Nike Product Creation team to develop, engineer, drive and perfect those products for consumers around the world. The Product Creation Team works with Design, Product Management and other cross-functional partners in the product creation process. Product Creation leads the development process, drives craft, focuses on performance, sustainability and profitability, and delivers against factory product creation capabilities. Whether its basketball, running or football, one thing remains constant: The Product Team delivers world-class products to help athletes push the boundaries of their potential. As a Category Director in Asia you lead, motivate and inspire a diverse team of developers and product engineers that liaise with the factory partners and WHQ Category teams to meet the athlete’s specification and to get the product ready for mass production.
Job Responsibilities :
* Manage General Ledger, including Journals upload and Flux Analysis
* Ensure timely and accurate Month and Year-End Closing and Reporting
* Perform Intercompany Reconciliation
* Administer Fixed Asset Module and Schedules
* Prepare management reporting and other statutory reporting based on Global and statutory requirements.
* Support Compliance, Controls, Audit and Tax matters
* Contribute to Continuous Process Improvement, Identify best practice and ownership of processes
* In charge of Indirect procurement process (contract, vendor application, etc)
* Reviews, analyzes, reconciles, and interprets financial results with the manager and understands financial systems and data elements.
* Monitors compliance of processes, transactions, and balances with accounting and finance policies.
* Be a team player to support the overall accounting function by enhancing the level of service, effectiveness, accuracy, and timeliness of the accounting process.
