Being a part of the Nike Consumer Direct Sciences team is about more than just selling product online. It's about how Nike shows up at retail online within Nike Direct to our consumers. It's about creating ways internal partners can learn to better serve our consumer through analytics, all with a means towards getting product and experiences in front of the consumer when they want it, where they want it and how they want it.

About the role

As a Consumer Direct Sciences Analyst, you will be at the heart of the digital business and will help the digital team make decisions that will drive performance, directly leading to the accomplishment of annual goals. Representative projects include analyses on consumer behavior and business trends, and identifying opportunities to boost revenue or improve our margin. This position requires a high-energy, self-motivated individual with strong technical and analytical skills, high detail-orientation and excellent written and verbal communication. Candidates with business analytics experience in an ecommerce environment preferred but not required. The right individual will be on top of online & physical retail trends and understand the intricacies of the Japanese digital and retail landscape.

Responsibilities

Lead audience sizing and segmentation cross-functionally, partnering with digital and brand teams to identify member cohorts that align to a desired strategy, and pull those lists from our data. * Be the expert in our member data, from understanding the latest globally-defined classifications of our consumer mindsets and cohorts, to obsessing the specific data points we have about our members.
* Be cognizant of both both short-term and long-term strategy, understanding the immediate needs and turnaround times of audience segmentation execution, but aware of the intent to build long-term member retention and lifetime value.
* Create new ways to evaluate the performance of our audience segmentation, by defining, socializing and tracking new metrics and building new views / reports / dashboards for the business.
* Play a key role in the intersection of brand and analytics, staying flexible with analytical capabilities and adjusting workstreams to meet the needs of brand, digital and platform business stakeholders (Nike App, SNKRS App, NTC, NRC, etc).
