Pacific’s Logistics Operations Team is responsible for delivering tailored supply chain services to all Nike internal and external customers. Our vision is to provide consistent, sustainable and innovative solutions, activating the Nike brand within the marketplace through succinct and effective distribution of our products.
We are currently recruiting for the position of Outbound / Inventory Analyst; this is a full-time contract role until May 2022, reporting into the Pacific Logistics Manager. As an integral link within the logistics operations team, this role will seek to understand the detail around cost, performance and process, in order to execute pro-active customer centric distributive solutions.

We’re looking for someone who can loves deep-diving the detail, who has a strong understanding of the retail logistics operations within ANZ and isn’t afraid to challenge the existing boundaries. We are looking for an individual with a customer first solution mindset, with focus towards performance execution and analytical appraisal of 3PL service providers. Our operations team is known for stepping up to address difficult issues, operating effectively when the way forward isn’t clear, thinking strategically, and developing innovative ideas to promote success. This role plays an integral part in sourcing and delivering customer centric solutions within our growing logistics operations space - we are looking for someone to support and drive this growth.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
You will form a key conduit within the wider Operations team, to represent logistics within business forums to support the logistics operations group. Your role will predominantly focus on supporting our Outbound Operations, with a key eye towards facilitating workflows and appraising the operational execution within our 3PL network. There will also be a strong focus towards inventory management and ensuring processes are facilitated, to minimize inactive inventory within our primary DC, with variances also having been addressed promptly. Detailed analytics around performance against plan, holistic volume, CPU and SIFOT will build your framework, supporting our mentality towards continuous improvement.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
This role has a wide breadth of touchpoints. You will report to the Pacific Logistics Operations Manager and work closely with the Pacific Logistics team. You will have numerous touchpoints into our Marketplace Operations, Technology and Supply Chain Innovation teams. You will also link in closely with our Demand and Supply Management team, to ensure accuracy around inventory and capacity planning, as well as our Finance teams in order to support forecasting and accrual precision. You will link in closely with our geography partners, predominantly based in the US, to support performance and cost reporting, as well as driving best practice through shared learnings. Externally, you will be a key leader in supporting supplier relationships, namely in the 3PL warehousing and transport spaces.
