Job Description

Workforce Operations team is providing employee life cycle support and consultation to HRBP from HR system and HR operation process perspective. This role (based in Shanghai) will be a member of the Greater China HR Core Operations & Services team, reporting to Workforce Ops Manager, Greater China.


As an Senior Workforce Ops specialist, you will utilize various systems and other support tools to ensure accurate and timely support to employees in China, HK and TW. Additionally, will analyze and research more complex situations by providing subject matter advice as well as interpreting policy and engaging appropriate functional teams. This is a very fast paced, employee focused environment requiring you to multitask and deliver premium service with speed.

• Understand and perform employee life cycle end to end process through Service Now, Success Factors and SAP to achieve SLA and accuracy target
• Provide excellent customer service to clients
• Mastery of intent and impact of master data & governance, including complex data intricacies
• Work independently to navigate complex/ambiguous situations and provide solutions
• Knowledge & adherence to Labor/Compliance regulation within team function to makes decisions within guidelines/policies
• Speak to existing processes and represent Workforce Ops to cross-functional teams & Vendor partnership
• Consultation & bridge b/w business and operations
• Operationalize business requests for end-to-end data entry (intake, pre-audit, hand off, post-audit)
• Proactively consult and influence business leaders/partners & gatekeeping/advocacy of employee data management & position/org governance
• Workforce Ops employment documents and process maintenance
• Responsible for Training & Onboarding of new team member


• Independent consultant of WF Ops work and uses expertise to provide options & solutions
• Decision Making Authority while working within HRCOS guidelines
• Participates as SME in regional/global initiatives
• Back up support for Managers
• Vendor Management
• Mastery of advanced tools to support key tasks (Winshuttle, Spinifex, T-Code uploads, etc.)
• Insight on process improvement opportunity & lead continued improvement on Workforce Ops processes
• A3 ownership to support team for root cause analysis and preventive action
• Learning Agility work with global WFA team for best practice to be applied in GC
