WHO ARE WE LOOKING

We’re looking for an experienced Sourcing Manager. The role will be in full charge of managing Nike Greater China IT/Digital Procurement. The successful candidate will be procuring and managing technology hardware, software, telecom and cloud computing services for Nike Greater China enterprise, DCs, digital and retail marketplaces. There will be a strong emphasis on supporting Nike’s fast-growing Digital businesses.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON

• Partner with key stakeholders through the annual budgeting cycle in addressing the impact on their Indirect spend

• Develop and implement spend management strategies including supplier assessments and rationalization, negotiation for best total cost of ownership

• Drive and manage various aspects of sourcing activities with Nike Greater China. Develop negotiation strategies, lead negotiations with best solutions to maximize values

• Lead the completion of contracts with best fit suppliers and resolve disputes

• Understand and monitor category market supply trends and innovations

• Establish key internal business relationships with tech domain leaders

• Simplify processes, ensure compliance and drive cost savings across a statement of work (SOW) engagements

• Write complex documents such as Letters of Authorisation (LOA) and Statements of Work (SOW)

• Establish and monitor reporting on post-contract benefits of all new procurement agreements, i.e., Master Service Agreement, benchmarked against the approved business case

• Establish and monitor post-contract supplier performance, and performance manage non-compliant suppliers

• Develop strong, functional relationships with key suppliers

• Follow industry professionals and organizations to maintain an awareness of best practices

• Ensure that all practices are consistent with industry guidelines and regulations

WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH

This position reports directly to the Director Procurement Technology & Services for Nike’s Greater China (based in Shanghai, China). Key functional partners are leaders of Nike’s technology domains.
