WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
As Talent Acquisition Manager for Nike Japan, you'll create and sustain effective methods and processes to identify, source and hire top corporate and retail talent for Nike’s business both in Japan and across Asia Pacific as part of a regional team.
Your focus will be on both corporate and retail recruitment and as a people manager you will be responsible for the day to day management of a local team of corporate and retail recruiters. As one team, you'll utilise innovative and effective recruitment methods that are designed to deliver a diverse pool of candidates to the business against aggressive timelines. You'll manage both mid-career and campus hiring initiatives toward building a diverse bench of talent for the Nike Japan business.
Key deliverables for this role include developing sustainable strategies that will drive world-class candidate and hiring manager experience throughout the entire recruitment lifecycle. You’ll consult with your business segment to drive talent attraction campaigns and employ innovative search strategies to attract top passive talent. You'll consult with General Managers, Directors, and Hiring Managers as the expert on candidate market trends, compensation recommendations and interviewing best practices.
Important to this role is mapping talent, identifying candidate trends and innovating on process efficiencies. You'll provide subject matter expertise on Nike's recruitment processes and champion changes in process or philosophy. You'll utilise talent market insights and data to inventively engage, build and maintain a pipeline of qualified talent communities.
Above all, you will be responsible for attracting and hiring Nike’s most important asset - its people!
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
You'll report to the Senior Manager Talent Acquisition Asia Pacific, based in Singapore. You will work closely with team mates who support Talent Acquisition across Nike's Asia Pacific corporate and retail organisations. You’ll maximise partnerships with Nike talent acquisition teammates across University Relations, Sourcing, Talent Attraction and Engagement and you'll work hand-in-hand with local and Global TA leaders, business leadership and HR business partners.
