We are looking for an Chemical Engineer I to join Nike Chemical Engineering Team in Busan, Korea to help revolutionize the world’s best athletic footwear for the world’s best athletes. A successful candidate must build knowledge of the company, processes and customers, solves a range of straightforward problems, analyze possible solutions using standard procedures, receive a moderate level of guidance and direction.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
In this role you will utilize veteran engineering knowledge and applied research towards the development and design of new products and processes, work under the guidance of more Senior Engineers, performs product development engineering work in one or more general engineering functions to include chemical, mechanical, process, product, etc. Applies this work to elevate product through the use of new technologies and processes. Generates tests, and results analysis. Draws conclusions and makes subsequent process or product recommendations. Solves complex engineering problems and takes corrective action. Summarizes reports, data, and findings and prepares reports or briefs of assigned projects. Assists in presenting concepts and solutions at the functional level. Supports knowledge transfer outside of functional area as needed.

You will join a team that designs, develops and transition new technologies and manufacturing processes. You will work closely with global cross-functional teams in Nike organization as well as manufacturing partners & material suppliers in driving creation of footwear manufacturing processes.
