Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
• Develop geo level strategies to Inventory Management
• Set targets for all territories of the geo and all owned nodes in partnership with the Global inventory team. Track and forecast on inventory projections (monthly, quarterly and year end).
• Drive communication & calibration with key stakeholder/partners (country/territory inventory teams, marketplace planning, controlling, finance, S&OP) including providing inventory visibility such as Inventory Position, Inventory Aging, Slow Moving, etc.
• Engage leadership awareness of inventory risk through IMP Inventory Ecosystem and lead end of life inventory processes.
• Assess and lead operational and financial risk, leveraging strong internal controls. Continue to scale and execute standardized Inventory Control processes to ensure the right inventory is in the right place at the right time to meet or exceed the needs of the customer. Ensure key audit controls performed by your team are met monthly, quarterly, and annually.
• Utilize root cause analysis to identify and solve for inventory management improvement opportunities
• Lead the identification and implementation of best practices at a geo level in partnership with the Global inventory team.
• Ensure all teams have standard operating procedures, work instructions and specific functional training.
• Influence teams to adopt problem solving methodologies to identify root causes and improve processes, within the department and cross functional programs.
• Manage buy execution. Partner with Global Supply Planning to work out seasonal buy plan. Communicate with CTS to secure factory deliver PO in time. Call out delay risk and drive alignment with all stakeholders on action plan. Mitigate supply risk through accurate buy plan and optimized shipment flow.
• Partner with cross functional teams to identify and deploy solutions MRP runs and buying optimization.
