WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
You have experience leading and driving large consumer-driven e-commerce teams in the areas of digital marketing, digital promotion, digital operations, site merchandising, member engagement and membership. You are comfortable being a leader and mentoring others.
You have a positive, ambitious attitude with a passion for digital, retail, sport, and fashion and creating a future that is innovative and unique. You also bring experience in retail, consumer facing platforms/products and supply chain. You have the ability to learn and adapt in a diverse cultural environment and be a team player.
WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?
You will drive the end-to-end digital offence across Japan through direct and indirect teams of functional expertise with shared KPI’s and goals. You will set and lead the vision, strategy, and coordinate the offence Nike Japan's NDDC (Nike Digital Direct to Consumer) business as part of an elevated and integrated marketplace growth strategy.
Your focus will include Nike.com, SNKRS, Nike App and commercial leverage of other digital products/apps (e.g. NRC, NTC). You’ll provide strategic leadership to deliver annual business budget, and long-term financial goals and KPI’s. You will plan and execute globally common digital content and programming as well as to drive locally relevant consumer experiences, products and initiatives that meet the diversity of the consumer and marketplace and impact our overall Brand presence.
WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?
You’ll report directly to the Senior Director, Nike Direct for Japan, also based in Tokyo. You will manage a large, diverse organisation of people who obsess the consumer journey. You’ll work and collaborate cross-functionally including with Merchandising, Planning, Brand Marketing, Integrated Media, Consumer Knowledge, Supply Chain, Brick & Mortar (NSO/NFS, NSP) teams in both Territory and Geography as well as the Nike Japan Leadership Team.
