WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR
* As the Materials Innovator II with NXT Materials, you'll develop and apply material expertise to fuel and support strategic efforts in the field of sustainability within Nike Explore Team (NXT)
* You will be asked to integrate textiles expertise to drive various sustainability programs across all Apparel material innovation technologies
WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON
* You will be involved in the overall process of material development from ideation through commercialization within an emphasis on partner relationship and management in Asia
* You will also collaborate with Nike apparel lab to explore new test method development for material research projects that fall outside the normal realm of industry testing standards and protocols
* You will continually reseach and analyze new materials opportunities and technologies in the marketplace. You will work on digital tools to facilitate data informed decision
WHO WILL YOU WORK ON
* You will collaborate with NXT Product Creation teams and Sustainability teams to develop new textile solutions for a variety of materials and processes
* You'll manage and work with external textile partners, finishing & machinery suppliers, and laboratory testing personnel to ensure that relevant materials and processes meet all required performance specifications
* You will conduct presentations and educational seminars to developers, designers, and other interested groups
