As our Neighborhood (NHBD) Marketing Manager, you are an expert in Brand Marketing, with a deep understanding of the youth consumer, their lifestyle and how they shop online and offline. You are able to deliver on our Brand and Business objectives, connecting our members with the innovation, experiences and stories that position Nike as an industry leading sport and lifestyle brand.

You are a team player and a go-getter, curious and eager to innovate, to test & fail and learn & evolve. You appreciate the art of creative and you value the importance of data and consumer insights. You understand the technology, the role of our direct to consumer channels, and how these intersect with key NBHD accounts. In this role you will operate as part of the Japan Consumer Direct Marketing team and will be responsible for driving the implementation of our storytelling and experiences delivered to our visionary and sneaker obsessed consumers who are setting future trends.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

•Lead and own the NHBD Marketing Strategy for Japan working closely with the NHBD Business team, SNKRS team, and key authenticator accounts/partners.
•Partner closely with the Consumer Direct Marketing (CDM) Digital Team to position SNKRS channel at the center of sneaker & lifestyle culture
•Work closely with the Catalyst Brand Management team to identify external cultural partners to develop sneaker culture, including new ways to seed & authenticate new innovations.
•Play a lead role in the Marketing planning and Go-to-Market process for NHBD Product stories on a seasonal basis, working in partnership with NHBD Business Development, Nike Direct Digital Commerce (NDDC), Nike Stores, Nike Marketplace Partners, Merchandising and GEO Channel teams.
•Ideate ways to seed and authenticate new innovations
•Contribute to weekly exchanges with the Consumer Direct Marketing Team, GEO NHBD Marketing team and other Territory NHBD Marketing Partners to share ideas, best practices and learnings.
•In partnership with the Analytics team, understand and apply insights to improve the way we communicate and connect deeper with our existing Nike Members and invite new Members in.

WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?

In this role you will partner with internal and external functional teams to improve Nike’s community and product storytelling and to cultivate cross-channel campaigns that elevate our NBHD partners and the sneaker community. This role will report directly to the Japan Consumer Direct Marketing Director. You will manage agency partnerships and allocated channel resources to continuously evolve our marketplace offense, as well as elevate Nike’s digital channels and ensure executional excellence. You will partner closely with the Japan NBHD/SNKRS Business team and the Asia Pacific Latin America NBHD Team, and many key partner accounts
