JOB MISSION:

The Senior Manager, Global Retail Presentation is responsible for directing and overseeing the execution and planning of visual merchandising, retail marketing, and space planning for owned in-line and factory outlets. Working with global Visual Merchandising, Retail Marketing, and operational partners, he/she will be responsible for leading field brand presentation teams to bring seasonal retail experience strategies to life in various store sizes and formats. He/she will also help translate global guidelines into region-specific merchandising strategies and communicate to regional cross-functional partners.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:

BRAND
! Act as a brand ambassador to ensure brand retail experience strategies are executed across retail
! Maintain awareness of competition and current trends that are brand-relevant
! Have a clear understanding of NB Brand guidelines and how they are crafted towards the consumer

Retail Marketing
! Translate global brand and product campaign plans into regional implementations
! Partner with Regional Marketing teams to adapt Retail Marketing kits into various store formats

BUSINESS
! Utilize selling reports to analyze business by region and create plans to drive business as needed
! In concert with Regional leads, devise creative merchandising solutions to achieve KPI results and maximize sell-through
! Manage execution calendar with regions

Space Planning
! Work with Regional teams to create seasonal mapping and execution process
! Work cross-functionally to develop seasonal capacity plans for full-price and outlet store formats in accordance with Global Guidelines
! Maintain library of individual store capacities and floor plans
! Assist on projects related to new store concepts, collaborations and product launches
! Partner with Global Design and VM teams on new store openings and remodels

VISUAL
! Create launch readiness processes to ensure Regions are prepared to execute seasonal toolkits
! Ensure seasonal ISC strategies and visual elements are implemented according to global and regional guidelines
! Market and launch Global Brand Presentation Center of Excellence, establishing and maintaining global tools , ways of working and providing expert advice and strategic guidance across all Retail Field Visual Merchandising activities.

RELATIONSHIPS
! Build and exercise influence through cross-functional and upward senior-level relationships
! Create a succession strategy for VM regional team and VM field leaders
! Effectively manage and inspire a team of Regional direct and indirect reports, administering performance appraisals, setting goals, and consistently touching base
! Recruit, hire, and retain top talent to build bench for the region and brand
! Train and develop teams on NB Brand aesthetic and VM practices
! Plan and execute meetings and workshops that are collaborative, educational, and motivational

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS
! +8 years’ retail visual merchandising experience, with 3-5 years of regional/global corporate level experience
! Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in fashion design, visual merchandising, or retail marketing/management
! Experience managing direct reports
! Proficiency with PowerPoint and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photo Shop, Illustrator); 3D rendering skills preferable
! Strong leader capable of creating trust, collaboration, teamwork; always displaying a strong sense of ethics and integrity
! A well-versed people manager with the capacity to coach, mentor, develop and reward teams.
! Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work as part of a team in a dynamic environment 
! Ability to travel frequently, up to 25% globally
! Demonstrated experience delivering Operational Visual Merchandising strategies across fast paced, fast growing Retail brands/environments.
