JOB MISSION: 

Responsible for the creation and management of Team apparel and uniform product lines to be adopted for licensed retail.  Understands the process and strategy required to bring a Sports Licensed apparel collection to market.  Provides category expertise to all internal and external partners to drive the New Balance point of view for these segments.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:
! Proposes and briefs seasonal assortment plan with clearly defined product positioning, revenue target, cost targets and go-in margin goals for each category to align with division strategy and company strategies
! Works with design, development, sourcing, and e-commerce team as the cross-functional leader for the product-creation process.  Must ensure that products/materials are suitable for Sports Licensed styles in terms of customization and costing.
! Partners with inline counterparts and cross-category teams to drive the New Balance brand positioning within the Sports Apparel/Accessories Licensing Space and Team space.
! Create product assortments utilizing styles from Team Sports BU and In-line Apparel Categories that will service all licensed retail customer channels.
! Create and manage unique Sports Licensing Apparel/Accessory Styles and work with finance and cross-functional partners to further develop royalty reporting process
! Work Closely with the Team Sports E-comm Team setting up the Sports Licensing Apparel/Accessories Styles for the Team Site and DTC site.
! Establish communication process with Sales team to ensure product mix addresses consumer needs, drives NB point of difference, and meets financial targets
! Lead cross-functional team (development, design, tech, data integrity, sourcing) through seasonal product creation process and communicate strategy from brief-handoff to delivery
! Provide all product line information to Team Site-Configurator/Merchandising team to ensure impactful on-line presentation and customization process

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:
! Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business Management
! 5+ years of experience in a product marketing environment
! Proficiency in MS Office and knowledge of Adobe Illustrator
