JOB MISSION:

The Site Experience Team is responsible for the consumer site experience on NewBalance.com and NewBalance.ca and ensuring consumers have a positive experience with the brand. The Site Experience Personalization Associate will drive a new approach to the consumer experience by providing differentiated experiences to consumers based on their intent to purchase, product preferences, purchase lifecycle and demographics. In conjunction with the Site Experience Manager this role will identify target opportunities and determine how to provide them with personalized experiences through site and marketing vehicles. Along with the Site Personalization Operations Associate, this role will manage the Personalization calendar and roadmap and work cross-functionally with Consumer Analytics, Marketing, UX and Development to achieve initiatives. This role will be measured on driving incremental Sales and Margin as well as improving Conversion, Retention and CSAT metrics. This position will report to the Site Experience Manager within the NA eCommerce team.  

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:

!
Champion the consumer throughout all aspects of the site and shopping journey 

!
Work with Personalization points to map out all consumer touchpoints on the site and marketing vehicles and have a deep understanding of which can be Personalized 

!
Partner closely with Consumer Analytics and Development teams to know how target audiences are identified and then flow through to the site. Use this knowledge to drive constant improvement to audience management as well as how the site can be altered   

!
Manage a Personalization calendar that details out all campaigns and test opportunities. Ensure the calendar ladders up to the DTC Editorial Calendar and aligns to Global and Regional themes  

!
Partner with Site Experience Associates and Buyers to think of opportunities within product categories to improve the onsite experience and lifecycle marketing for the consumer. Utilize consumer profiles to curate corresponding product assortments. Develop KPIs to determine success and leverage data for decision making 

!
Submit briefs and collaborate with global creative on all regional specific needs and deliverables 

!
Partner with the Site Operations teams to ensure Personalization plans come to life on site, provide direction on merchandising strategy, consumer journey and strategic intent

!
Align with regional and global marketing to ensure that campaigns are properly connected to the optimal site experience

!
Brainstorm new and innovative optimizations and enhancements in site functionality – keep the consumer top of mind and focus on creating more engaging and frictionless shopping experiences. Align with global digital product management teams to roadmap, prioritize, and bring to life this work

!
Monitor market trends, research consumer markets and competitors’ activities to identify opportunities and key issues

!
Maintain organized and thoughtful documentation and enhancements, optimizations and key marketing initiatives to ensure the team is always tracking successes and learning from past work

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:

!
1-2 years relevant experience in ecommerce, digital advertising and/or user experience preferred 

!
Comfort and familiarity in ambiguous problem solving and strategic planning  

!
Collaborative, action-oriented thinking is a must 

!
Passion for the industry is welcome, but more importantly an obsession with interesting and innovative ecommerce and digital retail experiences is desired 

!
Penchant for storytelling and crafting brand/retail focused messages in a digital environment 

!
Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud and/or other CMS or Personalization platforms appreciated

!
Interest in consumer behaviors and data analytics
