JOB MISSION: The Global Retail Marketing Manager is responsible for the development of global seasonal marketing tool kits for all owned in-line stores.  Working with Global Visual Merchandising to develop the seasonal activation plans for multiple store formats, they will also be responsible to communicating seasonal marketing strategies to regional teams.  This role will develop marketing tactics to drive traffic to retail stores globally. Position is based in New Balance's global headquarters in Boston, MA.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES: 

Brand
! Act as a brand ambassador to ensure brand strategies are incorporated across retail.
! Maintain awareness of competition and current trends that are brand relevant.
! Have a clear understanding of the NB Brand guidelines and the target consumer.

Business
! Collaborate with cross functional teams to develop seasonal marketing strategies for DTC inline stores.
! Develop and manage global creative briefs for seasonal tool kits.
! Manage marketing launch plans to include brand strategies and product launches while measuring and tracking KPI's
! Support traffic driving strategies to acquire new consumers into new and existing stores.
! Drive integrated marketing and communication strategies and plans to meet global growth objectives.
! Work with visual merchandising and store operations partners to plan and execute a sustainable, repeatable life cycle of all global marketing initiatives ranging from core product, platform initiatives, collabs and energy launches.

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:
! 5+ years’ retail marketing/visual merchandising, with 3-5 years of regional/global corporate level experience
! Ability to think strategically while comfortable with project management details.
! Experience working with cross-functional teams and multiple departments.
! Experience must include prior project leadership role demonstrating initiative and organizational skills in managing multiple assignments with varying degrees of complexity.
! Experience developing creative briefs and spearheading Marketing content needs.
! Visual merchandising experience an asset
! Must be able to work in a team environment and the ability to express perspectives with conviction.
! Excellent verbal/written communications skills.
! Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
! Computer skills required including Microsoft Office and proficiency in internal platforms.
! Some travel required

Flexible Work Schedule
