JOB MISSION:

The Global Associate Manager, Retail Operations will contribute to developing and maintaining a unified operational and process standard for our global NB stores. You will contribute to one way of working within the global and local retail line of business and support user adoption of applicable processes and tools on all levels of our organization. This new position will be part of the backbone of the retail operating model for a dynamic and growing organization, where we are looking at continuous optimization of high productivity in employees.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES: 

OPERATIONS
! Support the development and evolution of critical retail operations capabilities that will improve the consumer and retail associate experience, drive efficiencies and improve key performance metrics
! Consult with key stakeholders to understand current operations, research, and benchmark industry best practices, identify opportunities for improvement and take action to implement them
! Document and catalog retail experiences, including, consumer engagement and experience(s) best practices, operational processes and procedures for access by regional partners to work towards global standardization
! Partner with the regional teams to ensure full adoption of the global standard operating model(s) and track/evaluate business results to create a continuous improvement loop
! Partner and support Global Training Team with the development of operational training materials

RELATIONSHIPS
! Liaise with corporate and regional retail partners as an ambassador of Global Retail operations to advocate global unity across NB stores
! Partner and collaborate with potential external stakeholders to support the capturing of standard operating procedures
! Partner and collaborate with multiple internal stakeholders across the retail organization to ensure that initiatives around operating tools and procedures are effectively and actively integrated and applied across the NB portfolio of stores
! Train and develop teams on NB operational practices
! Plan and execute collaborative, educational, and motivational meetings, and workshops

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:
! >3 years’ experience in regional/global retail operations function
! Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint) 
! Experience with developing, implementing, and measuring retail programs
! Experience with project management
! Strong influential skills; being engaging and persuasive in communications.
! Strong written, verbal and presentation communication skills  
! Strong collaborative skills and ability to work as part of a team in a dynamic environment

Flexible Work Schedule

Our North American hybrid model encourages rich in-person experiences, showcasing our commitment to teamwork and connection, while maintaining flexibility for associates. New Balance Associates currently work in office three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). Our offices are fully open, and amenities are available across our North American office locations. To continue our focus on hybrid work we have introduced “Work from Anywhere” (WFA) for four weeks per calendar year.
