JOB SUMMARY As the onset of eCommerce continues to revolutionize the way we do business, we continue to invest in and build out our DTC Technology teams, ensuring we remain operating at the forefront of our industry. As a Software Engineer, you will work in a highly collaborative environment to code and trouble shoot complex applications, participating in all aspects of the life cycle of multiple international and domestic eCommerce applications. MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES • Design and develop software solutions to meet defined requirements on an Agile team • Conduct root cause analysis, review new and existing code • Create and execute against a task list • Adhere to policies and procedures to ensure high quality and maintainable code is produced REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS • Requires a BS degree in computer science, MIS or a related field, or equivalent experience • Minimum of 3 years of experience in application developmentMinimum of 1 year of e-Commerce experience Demonstrate the understanding of key application functionality and corresponding business areas • Possess strong problem solving and decision-making skills while using good judgement • Multi-task and change from one task to another without loss of efficiency or composure • Communicate effectively and professionally in all forms of communication with technical team as well as business owners. • Ability to work independently and multi-task effectively • Deep knowledge of application development life cycle • Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio IDE or other related IDE products • Prior experience with server-side JavaScript, such as NodeJS. preferred • Front-end knowledge and experience:• Thorough understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues • Thorough understanding of code versioning tools, such as Bitbucket and Git • Proficient in JavaScript, HTML, CSS • Prior experience with complex n-tier architectures preferred • Prior experience with Native App preferred • Back-end knowledge and experience:• Deep knowledge of code versioning tools, such as bit-bucket and Git • Proficient in C# and experience with frameworks such as .NET or .NET Core ­­­­­ • Experience with developing applications for Azure • Thorough understanding of REST API development • Ability to write a unit-testable code • Prior experience with micro service architectures preferred Our Benefits:Our products are only as good as the people we hire, so we make sure to hire the best and treat them accordingly.
