JOB SUMMARY The Digital Copywriter Intern is responsible for developing copy for use on the e-commerce platform, email marketing and acquisition channels. In addition to a passion for writing, you need to have an eye for details, understand and apply writing fundamentals, and demonstrate an understanding of current industry trends. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Working within brand guidelines to write copy for site banners, emails, product descriptions, etc. • Create all copy in accordance to New Balance brand guidelines and ensure consistent brand voice across various touch points • Ensure all copy is engaging and written in language that is easily understood and meaningful to consumers • Collaborate with other members of the copy and design team as needed • Work with legal team to create ensure copy adheres to legal guidelines • Write according to eCommerce best practices and current consumer shopping trends/technologies • Review work in a staging environment and provide feedback to development team during quality assurance process REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS • Passion for writing and an eagerness to learn more • Proficiency in Microsoft Word • Basic knowledge of copywriting/marketing best practices for eCommerce and email • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work quickly within deadlines while still delivering quality design work • Ability to independently research and gather information from a variety of sources  • Accurate and detail-driven work • Thrives in a team-oriented work environment and can also work well independently   • Good oral and written communication skills • Flexible and adaptable with the ability to learn quickly • Takes feedback well and applies learnings to future work Must submit a portfolio as part of the application process.
