Join New Balance and declare your independence. Overview Reporting to the Site Manager, EMEA the Digital Content Developer is an essential role within the Site Management team. The role is crucial to the continuous optimization of New Balance’s digital user experience for EMEA, enabling the future growth plans while retaining a premium brand experience. The Digital Content Developer excels in both graphic as well as frontend design andwill lead the creative development of user tests, implement those on the platform but also act as a content creation resource for various digital deliverables. Responsibilities • You lead the concept and design new digital experiences (landing pages, page templates, digital assets, newsletters) in order to improve the user experience of New Balance’s EMEA Ecommerce platforms • You build regionally relevant html content which you supply to the EMEA site team and our CRM efforts. • Alongside the Optimization Lead EMA, you head up A/B/n test execution from initial concept and design to development and QA and are familiar with test implementation through 3rd party software. • You create wireframes, polished mockups, and prototypes needed to visualize hypotheses and test ideas. • You present and explain your designs to multiple stakeholders and feel comfortable designing within corporate brand guidelines, corporate UI standards and to work with approved creative deliverables. • You identify new opportunities through content and site analysis and work alongside various teams to deliver revenue opportunities through continuous development of new features and digital experiences. • You work alongside the frontend development team in order to execute your design ideas. • You support in the creation of localized digital assets (digital onsite assets, performance & social media marketing assets, newsletters). KEY CUSTOMERS: • The Digital Content Developer is expected to strategically support the following internal customers within the EMEA region: Site Operations, Marketing, Analytics, Development. As time allows, insights and knowledge sharing is expected across additional functions and departments. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, UI/UX Design, Interaction Design or related field. • You worked +2 years in a relevant Ecommerce field, ideally in the apparel/footwear DTC environment. • You have an excellent knowledge of HTML and CSS. • You can demonstrate the ability to follow brand guidelines and design frameworks. • You have experience with commonly used wireframe and prototyping software. • You are an experienced user of Adobe’s Creative Suite, especially Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop. • You are familiar with A/B/n test software (ideally Monetate). • You are familiar with content management within ecommerce software and have experience within page template alteration and creation (ideally SFCC). • Your strengths lies within the ability to self-manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. • Your portfolio demonstrates consumer centricity and an eye for detail. • You are fluent in English both verbally and written and ideally speak one other European language.
