MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES: • Be an integral part of the global line planning process on a biannual basis, ensuring that EMEA market needs are addressed. • Plan and brief the EMEA product line which delivers a coherent range architecture with price positioning that drives both brand equity and volume at agreed margins. • Create, communicate and brief new product ideas for category growth with global internal colleagues. • Input into the annual OGSP strategic business planning process. • Travel to domestic and international markets to conduct market, trend, competitor and consumer research and gain product feedback. • Establish relationships with markets and keep in regular communication with them to ensure all product queries, requirements and feedback are dealt with efficiently and effectively. • Present new product lines at key customer accounts throughout the region, as well as International Sales Meetings. • Create selling tools for markets. • Reporting of category developments to management as and when required. • Ability to work to tight deadlines to meet all merchandising/development milestones. • Creation and management of range grids/ presentations/ merchandising systems/ development systems etc. • Manage the line for maximum SKU efficiency. REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS: • Minimum of 5 years in a category specific role. • Pan European mindset. • Credible knowledge of EMEA consumer trends and market dynamics in both Mens & Womens Running & Performance categories • Knowledge of EMEA retail environment. • High initiative, high energy, passionate, decisive, eye for detail, confident. • Strong analytical skills. • Open communication/good listening skills. • General technical product knowledge. • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a cross functional environment. • Team player. • Ability to convincingly present collections using PowerPoint and spreadsheet software tools. • Time management skills. • High level organisational skills. • Efficient computer skills including Excel, Word, Illustrator, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Outlook.
