Overview Based within our 3PL partner in Venlo, Netherlands, the purpose of this role is to act as the onsite New Balance representative to ensure company interests and business requirements are fully understood and executed effectively by our partner. Responsibilities • On site liaison between New Balance and our 3PL Partner (DSV) • Work with DSV to balance daily workload • First point of contact for issue escalation – will liaise with key contacts within the Warrington office and DSV employees? • Represent New Balance on any Venlo process improvement opportunities, ensuring the correct New Balance employees are involved in any process improvement projects as needed. • Ensure orders are processed and dispatched in accordance with agreed SLA and/or agreed delivery dates • Investigate any stock holding discrepancies in liaison with EMEA team • Monitor warehouse invoices • On site liaison with NL based freight companies • Main point of contact for all transportation issues. • Review and monitor returns processes, reporting on non-compliance • Work with other team members to ensure procedures are kept fully updated and communicated to relevant departments. • Continue to develop relationship with 3PL • Responsibility for producing and issuing KPIs to the business to report on warehouse performance • Represent New Balance at daily 3PL Team Meetings. • Monitor and update EMEA SOP’s. • Work alongside other New Balance employees on the longer-term warehouse automation project • Other tasks as/when required Qualifications • Previous experience of working within a third-party DC as an onsite customer representative would be highly advantageous • 3-5 years’ experience gained from within a logistics and transportation management role • Strong communication skills are essential along with the ability to build effective working relationships, influence others and maintain a balanced point of view • Able to work in a stand-alone role – self starter who is able to work independently as well as co-operatively with all parties • Continuous improvement mindset • Experience of working on cross functional projects • Excellent computer skills – Excel advanced user • Fluent in both Dutch and English • Willing and able to travel within and outside of the Netherlands APPLY NOW
