JOB MISSION: The Marketing Associate will be responsible for the planning, development and execution of promotional and product email campaigns that build and maintain relationships with subscribers for the New Balance Factory stores.  This person will be responsible for customer retention, list segmentation and list hygiene.  The position will also interact on a frequent basis with members of the Creative team, Retail promotions team and Marketing, collaborating to ensure the success of marketing campaigns.  Strong organizational and project management skills, coupled with attention to detail and the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment are required. MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES: • Create and manage the Factory Channel email marketing calendar and segmentation strategies • Manage development of  creative and execution for all Factory promotional email campaigns • Coordinate with cross-functional teams and development to ensure email assets are accurate and delivered in timely fashion to meet campaign deadlines • Setup and test email campaigns on ESP platform prior to deployment to ensure messages are sent in proper form, all links are functioning properly  and schedule deployment when quality assurance check is complete • Edit html templates and create ad hoc emails and forms as necessary • Analyze performance of email campaigns and formally present monthly email campaign results and KPIs to key stakeholders, highlighting successes, trends and opportunities • Stay abreast of email marketing best practices and evaluate current email programs and practices for relevancy and efficiencies and devise and implement strategies to correct shortcomings • Plan, develop and execute strategic A/B tests, analyze results and adapt appropriate improvements and learnings into campaigns and programs REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS: • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field • 3 to 5 years’ experience in email marketing • Experience working with ESPs and with database segmentation targeting through campaign management tools • Strong understanding of HTML coding and conversion of artwork to HTML • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Our Benefits:Our products are only as good as the people we hire, so we make sure to hire the best and treat them accordingly.
