Overview As an Assistant Store Manager, you are responsible for supporting the Store Manager in the day to day running of the store and provide total customer satisfaction to meet the needs of the customers, according to New Balance standards. As a brand ambassador, you will help drive team and store performance, embracing New Balance values in a fast paced and energetic environment.

Responsibilities • Allocates resources and organizes processes to boost the efficiency and productivity in different situations
• High knowledge of retail KPIs taking decisions aiming to the improvement of store results
• Analyses the performance of the store (for example, bestsellers, space allocation, etc.) and makes the necessary adjustments to increase productivity and efficiency
• Delivers total customer satisfaction via our service model and boosts sales through the customer experience, using advanced sales techniques to achieve results
• Understands customer expectations and train your team to always reach or exceed their expectations
• Guides and provides training to all team members in terms of products, NB technologies and seasonal products
• Co-ordinating rota
• Minimises losses implementing, monitoring and tracking all procedures of loss prevention
• Supports the recruitment, induction, training and development of the store team
• Carries out administration tasks
• Key holder
• Dealing with enquiries and escalation route for customer complaints
• Understanding and supporting store operations, policies and procedures via the retail game plan
• Effective store merchandising
• Helping organise promotions
• Co-ordinating deliveries
• Active member of the retail store carrying out Retail Associate duties - sales, customer service, stock control.

Qualifications • Previous experience in a supervisory position
• 2 years retail experience
• Ability to lead and coach a team
• Motivation/positive attitude towards sales
• Reasonable knowledge of numeracy and literacy
• Ability to perform basic maths and general retail operational processes
• Excellent attention to detail
• Must demonstrate customer service skills,
• Excellent communication skills and enjoy working with people on a daily basis
• Team player
• Ability to lift 7-20Kg
• Flexible work schedule includes weekends and holidays
