JOB SUMMARY:
We are actively seeking a skilled and motivated developer to join our application development team.The application development team is responsible for connecting systems in real-time across the
globe. We are looking for candidates that are experienced back-end developers with someknowledge of front-end technology. At New Balance, we seek active learners who love to usemodern technology to solve challenging problems. You will be working with the latest technologiesand frameworks, and work together with the rest of the team to push New Balance as an innovatorfor years to come.
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Design and develop quality solutions that adhere to business requirements
Participate in the analysis and design of software solutions
Conduct root cause analysis on defects
Review and develop new and existing code
Work in ahighly-collaborativeenvironment to solve challenging technical and businessproblems
REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:
Experience in C# and have used frameworks such as .NET or .NET Core
Experience developing applications for Azure
Thorough understanding of REST API development, with an emphasis on security and
performance
Experience with microservice architectures
Experience writing unit/integration tests and developing applications using a Test-Driven
Development approach
Excellent communicator and ability to work as a team to accomplish a task
Adhere to policies and procedures to ensure high-quality and maintainable code is produced
BS degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience
Minimum 3 years of experience in API development
