Job Brief
The Product Development Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Product Development team in all development activities with the aim of seamless execution in bringing product to life from design to production. This position includes a broad range of responsibilities and the opportunity to work with a variety of exciting brands
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Work with overseas suppliers on the development of small accessories (headwear, belts & wallets)
2. Maintain sample tracker and sample organization system. Organize and distribute all samples to multiple offices and sales reps
3. Submit and track approvals though online portals for various brands
4. Organize and keep up to date all quotes from factories
5. Create costing sheets and communicate all information to east coast costing team
6. Attend internal product reviews
7. Chase factories for needed info on product: dimensions, case packs, material content, weights, volumes, etc.
8. Create, organize and maintain factory database
9. Catalog lab dips and trims from all suppliers
REQUIREMENTS
1. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
2. High level of organization and attention to detail
3. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office with a focus in Excel
4. Proficient in Adobe Illustrator
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
6. Ability to travel as needed
