We are currently looking for someone with a passion for technical accuracy in design to join our growing team as a Technical Designer to help support the growth of our brands. The ideal person will possess outstanding technical, written and verbal skills. This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced work environment and handle a high volume of SKU’s.
Job Description:
• Create, maintain and track technical spec packages for all assigned products until commercialization is completed.
• Creates and enforces grading specs and garment measurements
• Reviews samples against design package to ensure all specifications, construction and design details are adhered to.
• Manages fit sessions and executes fit comments from concept to TOP of assigned classifications.
• Communicates daily with vendors, Merchants, Design, and Production, Overseas offices, Suppliers and Customers teams for T&A and product execution.
• Communicate with pattern maker through process of development
• Responsible for tracking fit approval and sample process; organizes fit samples received, including logging received samples and scheduling fitting; maintain Time & Action (T&A) sample log sheet.
• Performs other job duties as needed.
