We make Ninja Suit base layers, Airblaster premium outerwear, and other fun high-quality products.
We're looking for a Product & Sourcing Manager who will be very important to the process of bringing our products to market.
The Product & Sourcing Manager is primarily responsible to manage the sourcing process from selection of fabrics, trims, and garment vendors through timely delivery of bulk production of these. This position will own and direct Product Timeline from start of Design through Bulk delivery, including collaborating with and managing delivery timeline of Designers, Developer, and PLM roles. Primary categories are technical outerwear and base layers for use by active, engaged snow sports and outdoor customer base.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
-Direct Sourcing of Factories and Materials to continually improve technical function, aesthetics, quality, and margin
-Manage timeline for line design, development, and production
-Manage experienced Developer, collaborate to bring designs to 110% for factory understanding and execution
-Oversee Production and QC to continually ensure and improve delivery
-Own / improve / streamline packaging and POP program
Production Duties:
-Create and Deliver PO’s, Manage T/A's
-Manage fabric bookings & timeline for fabric production and delivery
-Responsible for QC inspections, and final quality of product
-Plan and execute QC trips within budget and timeline
-Maintain professional, productive, and overall positive factory relationships
-Communicate production capabilities, limitations, and opportunities to in house team
-Negotiate and confirm terms with factories – QC Chart, new vendor documents, supplier agreements, NDA’s. Set and maintain high expectations.
-Steer aggressively toward early delivery, being realistic / proactive to anticipate and quickly overcome obstacles to hit timely delivery
-Manage shipping docs, packing lists, etc for Logistics Manager to schedule and coordinate shipping booking
-Negotiate factory pricing / Maintain Margin and retail price point
Sourcing
-Find new factory relationships based on sourcing priorities
-Keep Airblaster agile wrt placement of garment production (develop independent trim vendor, communicate with zipper and fabric suppliers, etc)
-Develop strategy for dual-sourcing styles in Development, and for final placement of Bulk PO
-Negotiate and completely track all pricing information
Development
-Communicate fabric requests from Designers to fabric vendors and match vision with margin and quality
-Ability to perform initial inspection of development proto samples when necessary - measure and advise Developer of inconsistencies between BOM and Tech Pack.
-Bring PPS to 110% completion and quality, before Bulk production – imperative to catch, note, and make clear to factory any and all outstanding fine details at this stage

Must be highly self-motivated, detail oriented, and organized, with a strong sense of ownership and highest level of responsibility and accountability. Must have the ability to problem solve and communicate clearly across cultural barriers to keep product processes moving seamlessly toward timely delivery of quality product.
