Position Summary:
The traffic coordinator ensures the efficient completion of all Art department projects within the established schedules and time lines. This position is responsible for negotiating and enforcing the on-time delivery of completed Art projects. Reporting to the creative director, this position also interacts with marketing managers, product managers and project managers making sure that their expectations are met and their requirements delivered as agreed.

Essential Job Functions:
- In collaboration with marketing managers, project managers and creative director, establish weekly, monthly and quarterly project lists that include all jobs in the Art department
- Develop and maintain a project lists database
- Maintain a master schedule for all projects in the Art department. Create and modify the schedule, detailing each sequence of work that should be done at a particular time
- Record the effects of work being performed on time and not performed on time
- Evaluate the progress of projects and prepare regular updates
- Communicate status of projects to all team members regularly
- Coordinate with marketing managers, product managers and creative director to discuss progress and find solutions to scheduling issues
- Provide input in developing work schedules as part of estimating cost of projects, illustrating project timelines and milestones
- Prepare and issue proposed and provisional schedule
- Management of online workflow tool
- Oversee daily/weekly/monthly workflow
- Serve as technical advisor for some production problems
- Coordinate and consult with relevant project team members to ensure the completion of proper planning before a project is started
- Assist marketing project managers in generating schedules for immediate implementation, as well as monitor the same schedule’s impact on the master schedule. If scheduling problems surface as a result, the oriject manager helps in determining the cause and finding solutions to such problems
- When required, provide relevant information regarding the content, changes or presentation of schedules
- Maintain the schedule for the in-house photo studio
- Coordinate and expedite approval and set up of quotes from outside vendors
