About the job
The Commercial Product Photographer/Videographer will provide accurate, detailed, styled and high-quality digital imagery that highlights the products’ function and features for fast paced nationally recognized sporting goods backpack & accessory company.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Product Photography and Videography– In charge of all studio & location photo shoots for both print & web end-use in a high volume, fast pace environment where measured output is key. *On location video shoots will be co-managed with Digital Content Manager.
• Product Lighting– Possessing in-depth knowledge of professional lighting techniques. Understanding reflections highlights and shadow illumination, which is fundamental in shooting high quality product images, bringing out small details such as any texture or surface qualities.
• Product Styling – Styling all products with a customer-focused mindset. Adjusting and posing product so the important product features are accentuated and the product appears natural. Styling may require building of props and product rigs.
• Props Library - Organizing, updating & restoring props. Ensuring that all props are in working condition and relevant. Editing props as needed.
• Location Photoshoots and Creative In-House Projects – Scouting locations, wardrobe, props & special equipment necessary for location shoots. In charge of schedule as well as organizing all products for location shoots.
• Image Editing – Review all product images and select the appropriate shots based on job requirements and project specifications.
