Northern Orange County, CA Company seeks Digital Communications Coordinator to join our growing apparel team.
Job Description
The Digital Communications Coordinator is responsible for the planning and execution of Company’s digital communications strategy; driving requirements for content creation (written, photo and video), develop brand awareness, monitoring of social channels, cultivate social engagement, seasonal website promotions and event marketing; coordinating with the internal Brand Managers and the E-Commerce Marketing staff to identify content opportunities and craft content that will help drive website engagement and, ultimately, generate sales. The Digital Communications Coordinator is a highly motivated individual with experience and a passion for implementing digital marketing strategy, experience in developing, delivering, and monitoring social media campaigns and has a focus on creative branding.
Responsibilities
? Enhance a select community of freelance bloggers/copywriters by establishing a strategic approach and providing them with the content and assets (photos, videos, tickets, etc.) needed to create compelling and engaging branded content
? Develop performance metrics and manage performance results of digital & social channels
? Maintain and enhance company’s brands’ presences on social media sites (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, Google+, Instagram, etc.) including content creation in appropriate forms (e.g., photography, video, copy/text, etc.), content distribution and consumer responses to feed positive interactions, conversations and sentiment.
? Work with internal and external creative resources to ensure consistency across all creative
? Drive content requirements for the production and coordination of marketing videos and photo shoots for online marketing
? Leverages measurement tools to provide progress reports and mine insights, while continually finding ways to improve on those metrics.
? Monitor and respond to community and consumer feedback and alert team of opportunities to tap into emerging social conversations or new technology, and respond to customer service issues online
? Work with Ambassadors to maximize and leverage partnerships, while constantly identifying the next generation
? Monitor and report project expenses and invoices
? Coordinate external vendors and agency partners as needed
? Curate content from external sources to be leveraged as part of the content strategy
? Maintain the digital marketing calendar focusing on key sport seasons, events, product releases and athlete stories
? Craft the content for a variety of social, promotional, and email programs
Education/Experience
? Bachelor’s Degree from a 4-year university, preferably with a degree in marketing, business, sociology or journalism.
? 2+ years experience in a marketing management role within a brand-focused business
? Demonstrated ability to participate in cross-functional teams
? Experience with community management across social sites (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube etc)
? Experience in developing and executing brand and product digital campaigns, delivering to business objectives
? Deep knowledge of social monitoring and metrics tools
? Excellent verbal and written communication skills
? Experience in project management
? Basic HTML/CSS skills are a plus
? Working knowledge of Microsoft-based software: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
? Working knowledge of Photoshop
