Retail Marketing Manager
The Retail Marketing Manager is the marketing lead for the 14 O’Neill Outlets and 2 Flagship retail stores. This person sits in the Retail Department and reports to the GM of Retail. She/he works collaboratively and cross functionally with the Brand Marketing Department, Art Department, Ecomm Department and Photo Lab to design in-store creative assets; this person works with the Corporate Retail Team to plan and execute all in-store promotional strategies and initiatives, and liaises with all external vendors and community/advertising/mall-based partners.

Job Duties

• Design and create promotional strategies to drive new customer acquisition, revenue, engagement, customer loyalty, and other KPIs
• Run reports and Pivot Table Analysis using Excel to produce analysis for marketing promotions and initiatives
• Build and propose annual advertising budget to Retail GM
• Coordinate retail marketing events and promotions
• Write merchandising directives for POP placement
• Communicate marketing directives to Area Managers, Store Managers and sales associates; follow up as needed to ensure implementation is completed as directed
• Work with the outside brands carried in stores to acquire POP and digital assets
• Lead Mall advertising initiatives and Ambassador Programs
• Source promotional products for giveaway items and GWP program
• Report on GWP needs and conduct forecast analysis to place buys
• Maintain relationships with and communicate store promotions to shopping center marketing departments and external community partners
• Reformat promotional graphics for Retailer Showcase, Malls’ websites/social channels/digital signage
• Coordinate fundraising Giveback Events; produce collateral, communicate financials and procure giveaway items
• Direct Flagship Instagram program
• Maintain current content for web listings: Google My Business listing, Yelp listing, CVB listing, individual store concept landing pages
• Work with Visit Orlando and Visit Anaheim for Flagships’ tourism advertising programs
• Work cross functionally with Ecomm department for email newsletter program
• Design content and plan schedule for Retail email newsletters
• Procure data and assets needed for Financial, Executive and Board presentations

Graphic Design
• Work in Adobe CC to design and produce all print and digital collateral/creative assets for implementation within all in-line Retail stores, including but not limited to:
? In-store signage kits
? Coupons
? Flyers
? Advertisements
? Email newsletters
? Digital ads/banners
? Vehicle wraps
? Billboards
? Any additional retail marketing creative assets

• Work closely with Brand Marketing & Art departments to procure and produce creative assets; Obtain artwork approvals through chain of command from Brand Marketing & Art departments to ensure all creative content is in-line with branding initiatives
• Lead print production process from bidding to order fulfillment; manage vendor relationships
• Learn to use in-house print room to print and produce duratrans and canvas prints using ColorBurst; hand trim duratrans and install canvas prints

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2-3 years marketing experience
• Degree in Marketing or Business Administration; Minor in Visual Communications or Graphic Design is helpful for this position
• Required: Hands on experience using the Adobe CC is mandatory: Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign (35% - 40% of time is using these programs)
• Comfortable working in Excel and running Pivot Table Analysis
• Working knowledge/experience of the print production process
• Detail oriented, extremely organized, enthusiastic, and willing to learn
• Must be able to lead discussions, work under tight deadlines and work collaboratively in a team environment
• Comfortable using Mac and Microsoft Office
