La Jolla Group is seeking a highly analytical and collaborative individual to join our Planning and Analytics team. As Planner, you will support the execution of La Jolla Group’s emerging brands business across wholesale and direct-to-consumer channels by performing detailed analysis to create and maintain seasonal demand, supply, and inventory plans. You will socialize these plans with key functional partners on a regular basis in order to ensure continued optimal execution of the business.

Essential Job Function
•Maintain long-term sales forecast for assigned brands and categories. Socialize forecast with Finance, Merchandising, Sales, and other cross functional stakeholders to drive long-term strategic planning efforts across the business.
•Translate annual financial objectives into meaningful seasonal plans to drive seasonal brand planning and line planning activities.
•Analyze historical data, sales forecasts, sell-in/through, and other market insights to establish seasonal demand plans. Collaborate with brand leadership, wholesale and direct-to-consumer sales channels, merchandising, and other stakeholders to obtain consensus on demand plans.
•Maintain ecommerce open-to-buy model to guide volume, flow, and mix of ecommerce buys.
•Identify seasonal inventory buy needs in consideration of supply chain calendar milestones and demand plans. Obtain brand leadership, merchandising, and sales stakeholder alignment on buy needs and work with Production to ensure buys are executed.
•Analyze supply volume, mix, and flow relative to demand plans to identify inventory optimization strategies. Work with stakeholders to establish tactical plans to maximize margin on available inventory through sales channel allocations and to minimize inventory obsolescence.
•Complete ad hoc analysis requests and provide meaningful business insights to support various business objectives.
•Execute the above functions across wholesale and direct-to-consumer channels for Hang Ten, Voyager, and other brands as assigned.
