General Summary

The Photo Studio Digi Tech is a key member of the La Jolla Group studio team.
The Digital Technician will report into the Studio Manager and will work with both studio staff and cross-functional partners across the business. The digi tech will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of quality and consistency according to strict guidelines in place. This individual will be responsible for assisting staff photographers, processing, uploading and backing up/archiving images, as well as the up-keep of all studio gears. Must thrive in a fast paced, team oriented environment with many moving parts.

Essential Job Functions

•Work with staff and photographers to produce consistent high quality images that are true to brand and meet the requirements of the project manager / shoot producer
•Must consistently and accurately name file images
•Responsible for processing, uploading and archiving images
•Responsible for the up-keep and maintenance for all gears
•Responsible for photographing when required
•Responsible for the management of samples including receiving and organizing

•Studio Lighting (Profoto, specifically), Grip and photography experience is a plus
•Proficient in Photoshop, Bridge and Capture One
•Strong knowledge of Canon Camera Systems
•Willingness to travel and work off-hours, as needed
•Strong organizational skills and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
•Ability to navigate competing requests from different partners and resolve in partnership with Photo Studio Manager
•Deep intellectual curiosity and commitment to solving business challenges
•Strong Excel skills preferred

Required Education and Experience

•Previous experience working as a photo assistant/digi tech is a plus
Physical Requirements

Seeing: Must be able to see well enough to read reports.
Hearing: Must be able to hear well enough to communicate with customers, vendors and employees.
Standing/Walking: Must be able to move about company building.
Climbing/Stooping/Kneeling: Must be able to stoop or kneel to pick up products.
Lifting/Pulling/Pushing: Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds.
Fingering/Grasping/Feeling: Must be able to type and use technical sources.
