Job Description

Amer Sports is currently looking to hire an Etail Marketing Specialist for Salomon, Suunto, Atomic, in Ogden UT.

The Etail Marketing Specialist will develop and manage the USA seasonal Etail channel marketing programs. This role will own the execution of the comprehensive Etail channel marketing strategy, which aligns with the brand marketing and commercial game plan. The mission is to elevate Amer Sports’ online brand presence with Etailers and to provide the consumer a compelling product and brand experience. Achieving sustainable and profitable business growth through delivering winning Etail marketing and promotional strategies across the Amer Sports brand portfolio.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES // To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily:
• Develop, manage and execute impactful season digital campaigns and promotional plans with selected key Etailers in order to deliver brand and account level KPIs
• Review daily performance of campaigns and make real-time adjustments to optimize ROAS across portfolio
• Collaborate with external agencies and coordinate effort between brand marketing teams, strategic account team and agencies in order to drive efficiency and optimize budget
• Act as the lead for consumer review syndication to our Etail partners via our own website consumer review platform
• Work with Brand Marketing and Digital Marketing teams to align on Etail channel marketing strategies that support the individual commercial and account management strategy and plans
• Support the Digital Marketing Manager in developing a comprehensive Etail channel marketing strategy and toolbox that delivers an exceptional digital brand and product experience

• Act as a key member of the Strategic Account Team with a clear focus on developing and executing account specific marketing and promotional plans that drive sales growth
• Support the Strategic Account Team in helping to develop Joint Business Plans and 3-year account Strategic Business Plans
• Synergize efforts throughout the organization specific to Etail marketing initiatives and optimize campaigns to drive total business KPI’s within budget
• Generate monthly reports on Amer digital campaign performance and recommend go-forward strategies and measure against assigned KPI’s
• Oversee execution of affiliate marketing strategy within Etail channel across all relative platforms
• Develop Etail Key Account marketing program analysis with implications and recommendations for future planning and execution
• Collaborate with Strategic Account Management Team and Brand Marketing Management to align on Budget allocation and implementation
• Support finance and sales operations to accurately capture account level marketing investments to ensure ROI and profitability
• Build and maintain effective business relationships with all cross-functional partners in Strategic Account Management, Sales Operations, Marketing, Commercial and Finance

• Prepare and present season launch packages and programs with impact in small and large group environments
• Collaborate with respective account digital marketing/services teams to evaluate potential sales opportunities relative to ROAS
• Maintain existing and review new technologies/products and keep Amer at the forefront of developments in digital technology
• Facilitate and maintain direct relationship with account marketing team
• Responsible for pushing additional consumer product content to Etail account for product detail pages after initial item setup scrape, which includes ownership/communication of key account content scrape timelines
• Work with account to ensure appropriate level of EVECTRA compliance

Job Requirements

EDUCATION // Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Marketing or related area or equivalent experience

TRAVEL // 20% - 30% Domestic Travel

• 2-3 years’ working in branded consumer good industry; athletic, outdoor/or sporting goods market preferred
• Several years of experience in marketing, digital marketing, and account management
• Experience working with an international matrix organization
• Brings relevant experience in the relevant marketing field (channel marketing)
• Specific, substantial experience in Ecommerce
• Experience working with Key Etail Accounts
• Experienced in gaining consumer/channel insight, analyzing data and putting relevant actions in place
• Developing impactful Etail campaigns
• Mastery of Digital Toolbox and Ecosystem EVECTRA
• KPI tracking, analyzing, reporting (attributing)
• Excellent Presentation Skills
• Outlook, Internet, MS Office, Analytical Tools
• Consumer Content Marketing
• Website Design/UI/UX
