We're looking for a Director of Human Resources!
Purpose: Directs all aspects of Human Resources including recruiting, regulatory compliance, benefits administration, payroll, and health and safety programs for the organization.
FLSA Status: Full-time Employee/Exempt/Salaried
Reports to: Chief Operating Officer
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Directs all aspects of Human Resources including day-to-day business requirements, management inquiries and employee requests.
• Supervise bi-weekly payroll processing via outsourced vendor and related systems.
• Prepare or direct preparation of annual payroll budgets, budget vs. actual reporting, and reports required by regulatory agencies.
• Direct all aspects of recruiting, hiring, on-boarding and employee terminations in conjunction with department managers and executives. Execute confidential management and executive recruitment activities as needed.
• Develop, maintain and direct employee benefits plans and enrollment, including annual open enrollment.
• Develop and maintain current knowledge of organizational policies and procedures, including federal and state policies and directives.
• Conduct or coordinate audits of company job descriptions, policies and procedures to ensure compliance with state and federal requirements and statutes.
• Develop and maintain relationships with benefits administrators, consultants and non-organizational accounting personnel to facilitate HR and strategic activities.
• Communicate, document and enforce company policies, including employee performance review and safety.
• Direct implementation and scheduling of corporate health and safety program and related training.
• Work with senior management on policy development and maintenance.
• Prepare employee communications on HR-related issues and general Company updates.
Other Duties:
• Provide consultative services on a broad range of HR matters for executive team.
• Coordinate with outside consultants on HR and related projects.
• Conduct investigations on alleged events to effectively analyze and resolve HR matters.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
• Human Resources Manager
• Human Resources Recruiter
• Other Human Resources staff as assigned.
