We are seeking a dynamic, strategic, creative, and innovative Digital Product Manager will help develop the product vision and digital strategy for one or more of our bicycle brands, including the development and delivery of the product roadmap. This individual will work closely with the physical product development teams, sales and marketing teams, UX and engineering teams, creative design and brand teams, as well as key executive stakeholders.
In this role, you would have the opportunity to present product vision, features, and functionality to sales and externally to retailers and media, and you would be the subject matter expert for the digital platform.
Responsibilities:
Gain a deep understanding of our internal and external customer needs from the digital platform.
Develop and maintain digital product strategy and roadmap.
Partner with physical product teams to scope and manage the development of connected products and supporting software services across multiple platforms.
Identify and communicate prioritized customer needs to provide direction for new product development.
Advocate and evangelize the product roadmap, amongst cross-functional stakeholders and leadership to ensure buy-in of project priorities.
Serve as the subject matter expert for the digital platform and ensure that other teams and business users are getting the maximum value possible from the platforms capabilities.
Gather and report on insights collected from data and analytics tools.
Provide internal analysis tool to support business decisions across all functions.
Provide support for marketing development and execution.
Identify and evaluate hardware and software suppliers for various product development projects and maintenance needs, as well as assess build vs buy solutions.
Manage supplier portfolio, contracts, schedules and relationships.
Refine and prioritize tasks in the backlog.
Provide metrics to report and manage product health as well as providing routine communication and updates to senior leadership.
Present product vision, features, and functionality to sales and externally to retailers and media.
Follow internal controls and company policies as set by company and job function.
Contribute to the success of company by leading or assisting with other projects and tasks as assigned.
Key Qualifications:
3-5 years of experience as a Product Manager, preferably in direct to consumer or ecommerce businesses
Bachelors degree; Masters or MBA a plus
Highly motivated professional and thrives in a dynamic company
Strategic thinker focused on business impact, with demonstrated experience using analytics and data to shape business decisions
Proven track record in defining and launching successful digital products/features
Experience working with engineering teams to execute a technical roadmap
Possess an entrepreneurial spirit with a focus on emerging trends, technology and features
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to produce product requirements in user stories to drive product development and provide product demonstrations for internal and external stakeholders including senior management
Strong work ethic; self-starting personality with the ability to problem solve and develop creative solutions
Experience collaborating with UX and design teams and beta testing to optimize usability; have an eye for simple and compelling user interface
Prior experience with Shopify, Salsify, Sitecore, SAP, and SQL
A few nice to haves include a passion or interest in cycling or an active lifestyle, knowledge of cycling industry trends; strong presentation skills; analytical mind with attention to detail and able to assess large and complex data sets.
