Position Summary:
The Community Engagement Specialist lives on social media. This member of the Cannondale Global Marketing Team is constantly logged into Cannondales social media channels and is responsible for day-to-day posts & interactions. They deploy live posts, respond to comments & direct messages and have their finger on the pulse of all social media conversations regarding Cannondale.

Responsibilities:
Respond to direct messages and comments across all channels
Work with Sports marketing on race coverage and live posts
Work with photo & digital team to archive images & videos
Communicate with product and marketing managers to answer customer questions in comments and DMs
Identify and acquire user generated content from users across all channels
Monitor tagged photos, mentions and key hashtags
In charge of social listening identify and engage in key conversations on social media
Identify potential new social media ambassadors in the mobility, road and mountain spaces
Share Instagram and Facebook stories from ambassadors and audience members
Collaborate with the customer service team to
Explore/recommend new social media platforms to engage with
Follow internal controls and company policies as set by company and job function.
Contribute to the success of company by leading or assisting with other projects and tasks as assigned

Essential Qualifications:
1-3 years of professional social media experience
Strong working understanding of Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, Strava
Excellent communication skills
Demonstrated responsibility and eagerness to take initiative
Ability to work collaboratively with co-workers inside and outside the Global Marketing Team
Detail focused
Ability to work under tight deadlines
Strong copywriter who can quickly use creativity and wit to engage audiences
Engaged and aware of cultural trends
Knowledge of cycling racing & culture
Knowledge of road, mountain and mobility bicycles
Photo selection and editing skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously across different social media channels and platforms
Willingness to work some nights & weekends for race and event coverage

Physical Demands:
Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
Must be able to sit for extended periods of time
Must be able to use a computer keyboard and view a monitor for extended periods of time
