Cannondale is looking for a Product Color & Graphic Designer to join the Color & Graphic (C&G) design team. We thrive on creating fresh graphic stories and clean progressive designs that will be applied to bicycle frames, components, and other collateral. We are looking for someone who has a proven eye for great design and is a self-starter with a drive to deliver innovative ideas, strategy, and design.
Position SummaryThe primary responsibilities of this position are to research, develop and deliver compelling designs and color stories for all aspects of Cannondale product. You will be responsible for leading concept and color development in partnership with the product team. In addition, you will travel the world for research, inspiration and collaborate with some of the worlds greatest athletes. This role is part of the Product team at Cannondale, which is comprised of other graphic designers, product managers, package designers, industrial designers, engineers etc. This role will report to the Director of Global Creative, Color & Trend. This role will be based at our Wilton, CT headquarters, with a flexible in-office/work from home schedule.
Responsibilities
Be highly creative in both 2D and 3D graphical concepting
Possess strong knowledge of consumer products; outdoor, cycling, as well as production techniques
Have a great eye for whats new, current, and upcoming trends, with a strong sensitivity to color, materials, and finishes
Develop designs from concept through final approval
Have a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables, while adhering to product guidelines and project requirements
Create presentations, production files, and visual collateral for reviews and vendor communications.
Work and collaborate with internal design team
Work with Product Managers and key stakeholders to ensure design and product goals are aligned

Qualifications
BFA in Graphic Design or related discipline
3+ years in product color/graphic concepting and execution
An online portfolio with specific examples of high-quality design work
Intimate knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Illustrator and Photoshop
Strong skillset in both illustrative and digital design techniques
Ability to see your designs through from concept through production
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Organized and self-motivated individual with an attention to detail, and able to excel both when working alone and when collaborating with others
25% travel domestically and internationally for inspiration and product sampling
Modo/3D rendering experience is a plus
Augmented/Virtual Reality experience is a plus

Physical Demands:
Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
Must be able to sit for extended periods of time
Must be able to use a computer keyboard and view a monitor for extended periods of time
Must be able to travel domestically and internationally for business
