Logistics Coordinator - 6 months Adoption Cover
Full-time. Poole, UK (hybrid working pattern available)
Our Logistics Coordinator is responsible for the management of vendor to warehouse logistics including communication & reporting to the wider business. They ensure appropriate compliance with Vendor and Cycling Sports Group & Pacific Cycle Group requirements.
This role is responsible for various admin and reporting requirements from the supply function of the business. Clear and timely communication, good organisational skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SAP are essential to the success of this role.
Duties and Responsibilities
Purchasing Order Processing
Create inbound deliveries and shipments for new products in transit
Create mass upload files and maintain delivery date accuracy within SAP system.
Cooperate with warehouse in resolving receiving issues such as discrepancies in POs, quantity or quality of materials received
Purchase Order Logistics
Manage vendor to warehouse process, liaise with vendors, FFWDs as required to manage supply and escalate as appropriate when issues arise:
Approve loading plan when container under-utilisation has occurred
Work with Shipping Agent to identify optimum freight options to meet business needs
Reporting & Compliance
Reporting on inventory and supply performance is essential to the business, and comprises a mix of regular and ad-hoc outputs:
Weekly updates on OHI/ATP, current and obsolete inventory, change over time, out of stock items and remedial action
Maintenance of POs (updating delivery dates / cancellations).
In-Transit reports
Monthly review of Goods Received
Weekly updates on Open POs, changes that impact availability
Distribute reports to business stakeholders as appropriate
Assist others by providing reports, ad-hoc or regular, and analysis as required
Key Relationships
Colleagues across all business departments including Sales, Finance, Product Team, Warehousing/logistics, Warranty
Taiwan and Almelo teams
Shipping agents and couriers as required
Skills & Experience Required
Proficient in Microsoft Office specifically Microsoft Excel
Experience with SAP
Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management.
Analytical, numerate, good at detail
Ability to work independently without supervision
Collaborator with effective communication skills
Ability to operate cross-functionally with colleagues
Persistent and goal oriented
Desire to take ownership of the supply/delivery function
Motivation to seek continuous improvement across tasks and responsibilities
