Inside Sales Executive
Full-Time
Poole, UK (hybrid working pattern available)
This role is responsible for providing a frequent point of contact for the UK dealer base. Sales Executives are responsible for providing excellent customer care & support while supporting their allocated Outside Account Manager. Existing accounts are developed and opportunities identified to generate new sales & additional business for their assigned region.
Main responsibilities
Operates in a Team Selling environment supporting all CSG brands
Will have direct and indirect responsibility for accounts within assigned market area.
Answers inbound telephone calls and emails, from bicycle retailers pertaining to sales, product, delivery, inventory, customer complaints and general inquiries; in a professional and timely manner
Places outbound sales and service calls to existing regional dealer base.
Achieves and maintains indicated communication service levels.
Maintains the customer database and processes customer and order related administration.
Assists in the achievement of all commercial targets, communicate current offers and maximize sales opportunities.
Identifies new business opportunities and make contacts with prospective customers.
Enters sales orders and ensure timely shipment by actively managing the order book.
Assists dealers with inventory analysis and make suggestions for improving inventory.
Maintains relationships with existing customers through effective customer service.
Sell and upsells bicycle related products through outbound sales campaigns.
Promotes new product line for each year and act as technical product expert for dealer base.
Tracks sales/service interactions through CRM and update/maintain retail accounts information; including dealer contacts, account notes, floor share, and account notes.
Recognises, documents, and alerts the IBD Sales Manager of trends in dealer calls.
Assists with on-the-job training for new employees.
Projects a professional company image through all lines of communication
Provides weekly sale forecasts for select accounts.
Track sales, credits, inventory transfers and other regional adjustments, to select dealers
Skills & Experience
Hardworking, professional, positive, friendly, reliable and approachable
Strong computer skills with working knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook
Proven track record in sales
Minimum 2 years of experience in a customer service/retail role
Strong verbal and written communication skills
High levels of attention to detail
Technical knowledge of bicycles and the cycle industry
SAP experience, or similar program
