Our Vacaville, CA distribution center is looking for General Laborers that are looking for full time work and have flexible schedules. We have 3 shifts available.
Salary is 27K annually with awesome full benefits and shift differentials (2nd and 3rd shifts).
Our Vacaville warehouse is part of the Teamsters Local 315 union.
Below are the duties and qualifications of our General Laborer:
Duties and Responsibilities
Match and record information on shipping labels to Transfer Order
Attach labels or tag to materials or mark information on boxes
Return all completed paper work to the shipping office
Clean up work area after finishing each job
May enter and prepare Fed Ex/UPS shipments and daily Fed Ex mailing to company locations
May place stretch wrap around stacks
May place seals on trailers as time permits
Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language used in the workplace
Accurately complete forms and paperwork
Follow internal controls and company policies set by Pacific Cycle, Inc., and job function.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors and managers
Essential Qualifications
Must be able to read, write legibly, perform math computations, and communicate at a high school graduate level or GED level
Minimum of 6 months experience in a warehouse
Must be able to lift and move a minimum of 50 pounds without assistance
Beneficial Qualifications Able to stand for long periods of time
Previous fork lift experience helpful
A large percentage of work time is spent in the warehouse where temperatures range from cold or hot and noise level can be moderate to high
