MARKETING PROJECT MANAGER
The Marketing Project Manager is the key cog in the wheel of project management, communication and on-time deliverables. The marketing team is physically located in different time zones and therefore, strong and active communication is required on a daily basis. The Marketing Project Manager will also be involved in other parts of the global marketing team in a support capacity.
Responsibilities:
Project Management
Create and manage the timeline of multiple creative projects made up of multiple marketing team members.
Overall tracking and project management of the creative production workflow for the marketing team.
Responsible to thoroughly understand and communicate stakeholder requirements to appropriate team members and manage all requirements accordingly.
Establish clear ownership for project tasks, ensure team members have the tools needed, and provide timely feedback.
Coordinate and facilitate delivery of project objectives for media events, website content creation, samples coordination and others as may be necessary.
Track progress and review project tasks to make certain deadlines are met appropriately.
Proactively communicate project status, issues & risks to management.
Conduct/lead regular status meetings with all stakeholders, keeping the stakeholders needs and requirements continuously in view.
Data maintenance and reporting as needed.
Organize and facilitate project planning, weekly, reviews, retrospectives, and other project related meetings.
Role requires experience in the specifics of timeline creation, the proper identification of inputs, tasks, and outputs
Role requires an inquisitive nature and ability to probe and ask questions, identify dependencies, and to guide teams to discover hidden assumptions and actions that are imbedded in processes defined over time but that may no longer be optimal.
Marketing Support
Place orders and communicate with factories on marketing sample requirements
Sourcing and ordering of product for marketing materials or events
Assist with the planning and execution of global marketing events
Assist with any qualitative or quantitative marketing research or product testing as required
Essential Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree
5 years of experience managing marketing projects in a creative agency or consumer goods industry in the creative/marketing department
Prior experience in Workfront, Microsoft Project or other Project Management Software
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Powerpoint and Microsoft Project
Beneficial Qualifications:
PMP Certification
Prior experience in the bikeindustry
Six Sigma certification
Physical Demands:
Working conditions are normal for an office environment.

Must be able to sit for extended periods of time

Must be able to use a computer keyboard and view a monitor for extended periods of time
