Our Rancho Cucamonga, CAwarehouseis looking for an experienced 1st shift Quality Assurrance Technician.

Job Summary
Execute all functions of the Quality Assurance Inspector Position as well-advanced product testing capabilities and quality problem solving techniques, communication, and management of processes within the department.

Essential Job Responsibilities
% Time
Inspection/Investigation of issues:
Receiving Inspection of incoming products according to AQL sampling and inspection plans. This may include assembly of bicycles and other products. This will include complete function testing as well as appearance criteria evaluation. Includes reporting of results to appropriate people and basic report summaries by supplier.
Conduct investigations of quality issues reported from all sources such as customer service, warranty, and suppliers. This will include coordinating problem resolution.
Perform detailed product inspection and testing as needed to applicable regulations and standards for all product categories. This may include packaging reviews and drop testing, and will include the evaluation and testing of all new product development (NPD) and Incoming Quality Control (IQC) quality reports. Follow up to resolution of issues will be included.
Quality data collection, report generation and summaries as needed.
Rework/Disposition of Non-Conforming Materials:
Assist in disposition, reporting, and managing of rework for any identified non-conforming material found during inspections or notified from another source.
Assist in developing rework instructions and verification of rework for quality issues as needed.
Returns/In-house damage:
Assist warehouse on inspection and determination of disposition of refused/returned shipments A vs B grade.
Assist warehouse in inspecting in-house damaged unit to determine disposition repack or b-grade.
Performs other duties as assigned by supervisors and managers.
Support the warehouse in receiving and shipping of product as available.
Follow internal controls and company policies as set by Pacific Cycle and job function.
Contribute to the success of Pacific Cycle Inc. by leading or assisting with other projects and tasks as assigned.

Minimum Requirements (include education, experience, special skills, licenses and/or certifications required.)
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required.
Technical aptitude - ability to provide diagnostic/operational evaluation of bicycles, joggers, ERO Toys, and P&A products.
Ability to work independently.
Intermediate proficiency in MS Office with emphasis on Excel.
Root cause and problem-solving skills.
Organized and attention to detail.
Fork lift certified or able to be certified.
Environmental Factors
Exposure to internal facility temperatures that can range from cold to hot.
Exposure to noise levels that can be moderate to high throughout facility.
